महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-55, verse-27

व्रतिनां धर्मशीलानां गुरुशुश्रूषिणामपि ।
अमोघातिथिनां या च तां गतिं व्रज पुत्रक ॥२७॥
27. vratināṁ dharmaśīlānāṁ guruśuśrūṣiṇāmapi ,
amoghātithināṁ yā ca tāṁ gatiṁ vraja putraka.
27. vratinām dharmaśīlānām guruśuśrūṣiṇām api
amoghātithinām yā ca tām gatim vraja putrak
27. putrak vratinām dharmaśīlānām guruśuśrūṣiṇām
api amoghātithinām ca yā gatim tām vraja
27. O son, attain that state (gati) which is reached by those who observe vows, by those of righteous conduct (dharma), by those who serve their teachers (guru), and by those whose hospitality towards guests is never in vain.
