महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-55, verse-8

योऽस्तूयत पुरा हृष्टैः सूतमागधबन्दिभिः ।
सोऽद्य क्रव्याद्गणैर्घोरैर्विनदद्भिरुपास्यते ॥८॥
8. yo'stūyata purā hṛṣṭaiḥ sūtamāgadhabandibhiḥ ,
so'dya kravyādgaṇairghorairvinadadbhirupāsyate.
8. yaḥ astūyata purā hṛṣṭaiḥ sūta-māgadha-bandibhiḥ
saḥ adya kravyād-gaṇaiḥ ghoraiḥ vinadadbhiḥ upāsyate
8. purā hṛṣṭaiḥ sūta-māgadha-bandibhiḥ yaḥ astūyata
saḥ adya ghoraiḥ vinadadbhiḥ kravyād-gaṇaiḥ upāsyate
8. He who was formerly eulogized by joyous bards, panegyrists, and eulogists, is today surrounded by dreadful, howling hosts of flesh-eaters.
