महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-55, verse-20

यज्वनां दानशीलानां ब्राह्मणानां कृतात्मनाम् ।
चरितब्रह्मचर्याणां पुण्यतीर्थावगाहिनाम् ॥२०॥
20. yajvanāṁ dānaśīlānāṁ brāhmaṇānāṁ kṛtātmanām ,
caritabrahmacaryāṇāṁ puṇyatīrthāvagāhinām.

20. May you attain the same destination (gati) as those who perform ritual Vedic rituals (yajña), who are liberal in giving (dāna), Brahmins (brāhmaṇa) who have purified their inner selves (ātman), who have practiced celibacy (brahmacarya), and who bathe in sacred pilgrimage (tīrtha) waters.
