महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-126, verse-26

तन्मा किमभितप्यन्तं वाक्शरैरभिकृन्तसि ।
अशक्तः सिन्धुराजस्य भूत्वा त्राणाय भारत ॥२६॥
26. tanmā kimabhitapyantaṁ vākśarairabhikṛntasi ,
aśaktaḥ sindhurājasya bhūtvā trāṇāya bhārata.

aśaktaḥ sindhurājasya bhūtvā trāṇāya bhārata

26. Therefore, O Bhārata, why do you torment me, who am already distressed, with your verbal arrows, after I have become powerless to offer protection to the King of Sindhu?
