महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-126, verse-25

मज्जन्तमिव चात्मानं धृष्टद्युम्नस्य किल्बिषे ।
पश्याम्यहत्वा पाञ्चालान्सह तेन शिखण्डिना ॥२५॥
25. majjantamiva cātmānaṁ dhṛṣṭadyumnasya kilbiṣe ,
paśyāmyahatvā pāñcālānsaha tena śikhaṇḍinā.
25. majjantham iva ca ātmānam dhṛṣṭadyumnasya kilbiṣe
paśyāmi ahatvā pāñcālān saha tena śikhaṇḍinā
25. ca ahatvā pāñcālān saha tena śikhaṇṇinā (evaṃ)
dhṛṣṭadyumnasya kilbiṣe majjantham iva ātmānam paśyāmi
25. And I see my own self (ātman), as it were, sinking into Dhṛṣṭadyumna's transgression, without having slain the Pañcālas along with that Śikhaṇḍin.
