महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-88, verse-8

मार्गमावारितं दृष्ट्वा राज्ञा वङ्गेन धीमता ।
घटोत्कचो महाराज क्रोधसंरक्तलोचनः ।
उद्यतां तां महाशक्तिं तस्मिंश्चिक्षेप वारणे ॥८॥
8. mārgamāvāritaṁ dṛṣṭvā rājñā vaṅgena dhīmatā ,
ghaṭotkaco mahārāja krodhasaṁraktalocanaḥ ,
udyatāṁ tāṁ mahāśaktiṁ tasmiṁścikṣepa vāraṇe.

8. O great king, upon seeing the path obstructed by the resolute King of Vanga, Ghaṭotkaca, whose eyes were reddened with rage, hurled that uplifted mighty spear (śakti) at that elephant.
