महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-88, verse-26

धनुषां कूजतां शब्दः सर्वतस्तुमुलोऽभवत् ।
अश्रूयत महाराज वंशानां दह्यतामिव ॥२६॥
26. dhanuṣāṁ kūjatāṁ śabdaḥ sarvatastumulo'bhavat ,
aśrūyata mahārāja vaṁśānāṁ dahyatāmiva.

abhavat aśrūyata mahārāja vaṃśānām dahyatām iva
26. mahārāja,
dhanuṣām kūjatām tumulaḥ śabdaḥ sarvataḥ abhavat,
vaṃśānām dahyatām iva aśrūyata.
26. O great king, the tumultuous sound of twanging bows was heard everywhere, like the crackling of burning bamboos.
