महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-88, verse-28

वीरबाहुविसृष्टानां तोमराणां विशां पते ।
रूपमासीद्वियत्स्थानां सर्पाणां सर्पतामिव ॥२८॥
28. vīrabāhuvisṛṣṭānāṁ tomarāṇāṁ viśāṁ pate ,
rūpamāsīdviyatsthānāṁ sarpāṇāṁ sarpatāmiva.

28. O lord of the people, the spears released by the mighty arms (of warriors) appeared like serpents gliding through the sky.
