महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-88, verse-3

मुमोच निशितांस्तीक्ष्णान्नाराचान्पञ्चविंशतिम् ।
तेऽपतन्सहसा राजंस्तस्मिन्राक्षसपुंगवे ।
आशीविषा इव क्रुद्धाः पर्वते गन्धमादने ॥३॥
3. mumoca niśitāṁstīkṣṇānnārācānpañcaviṁśatim ,
te'patansahasā rājaṁstasminrākṣasapuṁgave ,
āśīviṣā iva kruddhāḥ parvate gandhamādane.

te kruddhāḥ āśīviṣāḥ iva gandhamādane parvate (apatan) (tathā) tasmin rākṣasapuṅgave sahasā apatan.
3. He released twenty-five sharp, keen arrows. O king, those arrows suddenly fell upon that foremost of Rākṣasas, like enraged venomous snakes on Mount Gandhamādana.
