तैस्तूर्णं समरेऽविध्यद्द्रौणिं बलवतां वरम् ।

9. With those (arrows), he quickly pierced Drauni, the best of the mighty (balavatām varam), in battle. Those (arrows), having penetrated his armor, drank his blood in the combat (āhave).
