महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-69, verse-26

स विद्धो विक्षरन्रक्तं शत्रुसंवारणं महत् ।
चिच्छेद चित्रसेनस्य चित्रं कार्मुकमार्जुनिः ।
भित्त्वा चास्य तनुत्राणं शरेणोरस्यताडयत् ॥२६॥
26. sa viddho vikṣaranraktaṁ śatrusaṁvāraṇaṁ mahat ,
ciccheda citrasenasya citraṁ kārmukamārjuniḥ ,
bhittvā cāsya tanutrāṇaṁ śareṇorasyatāḍayat.
26. sa viddhaḥ vikṣaran raktam śatru-saṃvāraṇam
mahat ciccheda citrasenasya
citram kārmukam ārjuniḥ bhittvā ca
asya tanutrāṇam śareṇa urasi atāḍayat
26. ārjuniḥ sa viddhaḥ vikṣaran mahat
śatru-saṃvāraṇam raktam citrasenasya

26. He (Abhimanyu), though pierced and profusely oozing great, enemy-hindering blood, cut Citrasena's beautiful bow. And having pierced his armor, he struck him in the chest with an arrow.
