महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-3, verse-30

रजोवृता दिशः सर्वाः पांसुवर्षैः समन्ततः ।
उत्पातमेघा रौद्राश्च रात्रौ वर्षन्ति शोणितम् ॥३०॥
30. rajovṛtā diśaḥ sarvāḥ pāṁsuvarṣaiḥ samantataḥ ,
utpātameghā raudrāśca rātrau varṣanti śoṇitam.

30. All directions are covered with dust by showers of dust from all sides. And dreadful, ominous clouds rain down blood at night.
