22.
They were modest (hrīmantaḥ), tiger-like among men (puruṣavyāghrāḥ), and exceedingly powerful like tigers. In speed, striking, and tumultuous battle (saṃmarde), all of them were indeed superhuman (atimānuṣāḥ). O best of Bharatas (bharatarṣabha), all of them conquered kings in their conquests of the various regions (digjaye).
