महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-158, verse-7

पराजितोऽसि द्यूतेन कृष्णा चानायिता सभाम् ।
शक्योऽमर्षो मनुष्येण कर्तुं पुरुषमानिना ॥७॥
7. parājito'si dyūtena kṛṣṇā cānāyitā sabhām ,
śakyo'marṣo manuṣyeṇa kartuṁ puruṣamāninā.
7. parājitaḥ asi dyūtena kṛṣṇā ca ānāyitā sabhām
| śakyaḥ amarṣaḥ manuṣyeṇa kartum puruṣamāninā
7. dyūtena parājitaḥ asi ca kṛṣṇā sabhām ānāyitā

7. You were defeated by gambling (dyūtena), and Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) was brought into the assembly (sabhām). Indignation (amarṣa) can be felt by a human being who considers himself a man (puruṣamānin).
