महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-158, verse-40

शस्त्रौघमक्षय्यमतिप्रवृद्धं यदावगाह्य श्रमनष्टचेताः ।
भविष्यसि त्वं हतसर्वबान्धवस्तदा मनस्ते परितापमेष्यति ॥४०॥
40. śastraughamakṣayyamatipravṛddhaṁ; yadāvagāhya śramanaṣṭacetāḥ ,
bhaviṣyasi tvaṁ hatasarvabāndhava;stadā manaste paritāpameṣyati.
40. śastra-ogham akṣayyam ati-pravṛddham
yadā avagāhya śrama-naṣṭa-cetāḥ
bhaviṣyasi tvam hata-sarva-bāndhavaḥ
tadā manaḥ te paritāpam eṣyati
40. yadā tvam akṣayyam ati-pravṛddham śastra-ogham avagāhya śrama-naṣṭa-cetāḥ hata-sarva-bāndhavaḥ bhaviṣyasi,
tadā te manaḥ paritāpam eṣyati
40. When you plunge into that exceedingly vast and inexhaustible torrent of weapons, and become one whose mind is exhausted by fatigue and whose every kinsman is slain, then your mind will surely be overcome with intense grief.
