मया नागपुरं गत्वा सभायां धृतराष्ट्रजः ।
तथ्यं पथ्यं हितं चोक्तो न च गृह्णाति दुर्मतिः ॥६॥

6. vāsudeva uvāca ,
mayā nāgapuraṁ gatvā sabhāyāṁ dhṛtarāṣṭrajaḥ ,
tathyaṁ pathyaṁ hitaṁ cokto na ca gṛhṇāti durmatiḥ.

Vasudeva said: Having gone to Hastinapura, I spoke to Dhritarashtra's son (Duryodhana) in the assembly what was true, wholesome, and beneficial; but that evil-minded one does not accept it.
