महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-147, verse-6

भीम उवाच ।
वैशसं वास्तु यद्वान्यन्न त्वा पृच्छामि वानर ।
प्रयच्छोत्तिष्ठ मार्गं मे मा त्वं प्राप्स्यसि वैशसम् ॥६॥
6. bhīma uvāca ,
vaiśasaṁ vāstu yadvānyanna tvā pṛcchāmi vānara ,
prayacchottiṣṭha mārgaṁ me mā tvaṁ prāpsyasi vaiśasam.
6. bhīmaḥ uvāca vaiśasam vā astu
yat vā anyat na tvā pṛcchāmi
vānara prayaccha uttiṣṭha mārgam
me mā tvam prāpsyasi vaiśasam
6. Bhīma said, "Let there be misfortune or anything else; I am not asking for your permission, O monkey. Get up and grant me passage, lest you incur misfortune."
