महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-11, verse-36

मैत्रेय उवाच ।
शमं यास्यति चेत्पुत्रस्तव राजन्यथा तथा ।
शापो न भविता तात विपरीते भविष्यति ॥३६॥
36. maitreya uvāca ,
śamaṁ yāsyati cetputrastava rājanyathā tathā ,
śāpo na bhavitā tāta viparīte bhaviṣyati.
36. maitreyaḥ uvāca śamam yāsyati cet putraḥ tava rājan
yathā tathā śāpaḥ na bhavitā tāta viparīte bhaviṣyati
36. Maitreya said, "O king, if your son achieves peace, then, dear one, the curse will not come to pass. Otherwise, it will certainly manifest."
