महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-11, verse-28

एवं तु ब्रुवतस्तस्य मैत्रेयस्य विशां पते ।
ऊरुं गजकराकारं करेणाभिजघान सः ॥२८॥
28. evaṁ tu bruvatastasya maitreyasya viśāṁ pate ,
ūruṁ gajakarākāraṁ kareṇābhijaghāna saḥ.

ūrum gajakarākāram kareṇa abhijaghāna saḥ
28. While Maitreya was speaking thus, O lord of men, Duryodhana struck his own thigh, which was shaped like an elephant's trunk, with his hand.
