एवं तु ब्रुवतस्तस्य मैत्रेयस्य विशां पते ।
ऊरुं गजकराकारं करेणाभिजघान सः ॥२८॥

28. evaṁ tu bruvatastasya maitreyasya viśāṁ pate ,
ūruṁ gajakarākāraṁ kareṇābhijaghāna saḥ.

ūrum gajakarākāram kareṇa abhijaghāna saḥ

28. While Maitreya was speaking thus, O lord of men, Duryodhana struck his own thigh, which was shaped like an elephant's trunk, with his hand.

28. כאשר דיבר מַיְטְרֵיַה כך, הו אדון העם, הכה דוּרְיוֹדְהַנַה בידו על ירכו, שצורתה כחדק פיל.
