महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-11, verse-18

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
ततो व्यावृत्य राजानं दुर्योधनममर्षणम् ।
उवाच श्लक्ष्णया वाचा मैत्रेयो भगवानृषिः ॥१८॥
18. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tato vyāvṛtya rājānaṁ duryodhanamamarṣaṇam ,
uvāca ślakṣṇayā vācā maitreyo bhagavānṛṣiḥ.

amarṣaṇam uvāca ślakṣṇayā vācā maitreyaḥ bhagavān ṛṣiḥ
18. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, the venerable sage Maitreya, turning towards the intolerant King Duryodhana, spoke to him with gentle words.
