महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-11, verse-29

दुर्योधनः स्मितं कृत्वा चरणेनालिखन्महीम् ।
न किंचिदुक्त्वा दुर्मेधास्तस्थौ किंचिदवाङ्मुखः ॥२९॥
29. duryodhanaḥ smitaṁ kṛtvā caraṇenālikhanmahīm ,
na kiṁciduktvā durmedhāstasthau kiṁcidavāṅmukhaḥ.
29. duryodhanaḥ smitam kṛtvā caraṇena alikhat mahīm na
kiñcit uktvā durmedhāḥ tasthau kiñcit avāṅmukhaḥ
29. Duryodhana, having merely smiled, scratched the earth with his foot. The ill-minded one stood without saying anything, somewhat downcast.
