अपरेषां परेषां च परेभ्यश्चैव ये परे ।
क्षत्रियाणां प्रतपतां तेजसा च बलेन च ।

35. apareṣāṁ pareṣāṁ ca parebhyaścaiva ye pare ,
kṣatriyāṇāṁ pratapatāṁ tejasā ca balena ca ,
brāhmaṇeṣveva śāmyanti tejāṁsi ca tapāṁsi ca.

35. The splendor and spiritual fervor (tapas) of Kshatriyas—who display their prowess with radiance and strength, being superior to others, and indeed, even more superior than those who are themselves superior—become pacified and subside only in Brahmins.
