महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-58, verse-13

आशिषं ये न देवेषु न मर्त्येषु च कुर्वते ।
अर्हन्तो नित्यसत्त्वस्था यथालब्धोपजीविनः ॥१३॥
13. āśiṣaṁ ye na deveṣu na martyeṣu ca kurvate ,
arhanto nityasattvasthā yathālabdhopajīvinaḥ.

13. Those worthy individuals, who are ever-established in a state of pure being (sattva) and live content with whatever they obtain, do not seek blessings or boons from either gods or mortals.
