महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-324, verse-17

देवास्तु सहिताः सर्वे वसोः शापविमोक्षणम् ।
चिन्तयामासुरव्यग्राः सुकृतं हि नृपस्य तत् ॥१७॥
17. devāstu sahitāḥ sarve vasoḥ śāpavimokṣaṇam ,
cintayāmāsuravyagrāḥ sukṛtaṁ hi nṛpasya tat.
17. devāḥ tu sahitāḥ sarve vasoḥ śāpavimokṣaṇam
cintayāmāsuḥ avyagrāḥ sukṛtaṃ hi nṛpasya tat
17. But all the gods, gathered and undisturbed, deliberated on the release of Vasu from the curse, for that was indeed a meritorious deed of the king.
