महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-142, verse-9

तथा रोगाभिभूतस्य नित्यं कृच्छ्रगतस्य च ।
नास्ति भार्यासमं किंचिन्नरस्यार्तस्य भेषजम् ॥९॥
9. tathā rogābhibhūtasya nityaṁ kṛcchragatasya ca ,
nāsti bhāryāsamaṁ kiṁcinnarasyārtasya bheṣajam.

asti bhāryāsamam kiṃcit narasya ārtasya bheṣajam
9. narasya ārtasya rogābhibhūtasya nityam kṛcchragatasya
ca tathā bhāryāsamam kiṃcit bheṣajam na asti
9. Similarly, for a man (narasya) afflicted by disease and constantly in distress, there is no remedy (bheṣajam) like a wife.
