महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-142, verse-35

संचयो नास्ति चास्माकं मुनीनामिव कानने ।
इत्युक्त्वा स तदा तत्र विवर्णवदनोऽभवत् ॥३५॥
35. saṁcayo nāsti cāsmākaṁ munīnāmiva kānane ,
ityuktvā sa tadā tatra vivarṇavadano'bhavat.
35. sañcayaḥ na asti ca asmākam munīnām iva kānane |
iti uktvā saḥ tadā tatra vivarṇavadanaḥ abhavat
35. asmākam ca sañcayaḥ na asti,
kānane munīnām iva.
iti uktvā saḥ tadā tatra vivarṇavadanaḥ abhavat.
35. And we have no provisions accumulated, just like the sages (muni) in the forest. Having spoken thus, he then became pale-faced there.
