महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-142, verse-22

तं वै शाकुनिकं दृष्ट्वा विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा ।
पूजयामास यत्नेन स पक्षी पक्षिजीविनम् ॥२२॥
22. taṁ vai śākunikaṁ dṛṣṭvā vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā ,
pūjayāmāsa yatnena sa pakṣī pakṣijīvinam.
