महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-23, verse-35

तां पश्य रुदतीमार्तां मुक्तकेशीमधोमुखीम् ।
हतं पतिमुपासन्तीं द्रोणं शस्त्रभृतां वरम् ॥३५॥
35. tāṁ paśya rudatīmārtāṁ muktakeśīmadhomukhīm ,
hataṁ patimupāsantīṁ droṇaṁ śastrabhṛtāṁ varam.
35. tām paśya rudatīm ārtām muktakeśīm adhomukhīm
hatam patim upāsantīm droṇam śastrabhṛtām varam
35. paśya tām rudatīm ārtām muktakeśīm adhomukhīm,
(yā) śastrabhṛtām varam hatam droṇam patim upāsantīm
35. Behold her, weeping, distressed, with disheveled hair and downcast face, attending to her slain husband, Droṇa, who was the best among those who bear weapons.
