महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-23, verse-12

एतेन किल पार्थस्य युद्धमासीत्सुदारुणम् ।
लोमहर्षणमत्युग्रं शक्रस्य बलिना यथा ॥१२॥
12. etena kila pārthasya yuddhamāsītsudāruṇam ,
lomaharṣaṇamatyugraṁ śakrasya balinā yathā.

12. Indeed, because of this, Arjuna (pārtha) experienced a very dreadful, hair-raising, and exceedingly fierce battle, just like the one between Indra and Bali.
