महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-43, verse-29

सुखमस्म्युषितो भद्रे ब्रूयास्त्वं भ्रातरं शुभे ।
इतो मयि गते भीरु गतः स भगवानिति ।
त्वं चापि मयि निष्क्रान्ते न शोकं कर्तुमर्हसि ॥२९॥
29. sukhamasmyuṣito bhadre brūyāstvaṁ bhrātaraṁ śubhe ,
ito mayi gate bhīru gataḥ sa bhagavāniti ,
tvaṁ cāpi mayi niṣkrānte na śokaṁ kartumarhasi.
29. sukham asmi uṣitaḥ bhadre brūyāḥ tvam
bhrātaram śubhe | itaḥ mayi gate bhīru
gataḥ saḥ bhagavān iti | tvam ca
api mayi niṣkrānte na śokam kartum arhasi
29. "O gentle one, O auspicious one, I have lived happily (with you). You should tell your brother, O timid one, that 'the venerable one has departed from here.' And you, when I have left, should also not feel sorrow."
