अपांपतिरथोवाच ममाप्यंशो भवेत्ततः ।
सोढास्मि विपुलं मर्दं मन्दरभ्रमणादिति ॥९॥

Then the Lord of the Waters said, "A share should also be mine from that, because I have endured great churning from the rotation of Mount Mandara."
