महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-16, verse-24

तमग्निममरश्रेष्ठः प्रदहन्तं ततस्ततः ।
वारिणा मेघजेनेन्द्रः शमयामास सर्वतः ॥२४॥
24. tamagnimamaraśreṣṭhaḥ pradahantaṁ tatastataḥ ,
vāriṇā meghajenendraḥ śamayāmāsa sarvataḥ.

24. Indra, the best of immortals, completely extinguished that fire, which was burning everywhere, with water born from the clouds.
