महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-16, verse-17

तस्माच्च गिरिकूटाग्रात्प्रच्युताः पुष्पवृष्टयः ।
सुरासुरगणान्माल्यैः सर्वतः समवाकिरन् ॥१७॥
17. tasmācca girikūṭāgrātpracyutāḥ puṣpavṛṣṭayaḥ ,
surāsuragaṇānmālyaiḥ sarvataḥ samavākiran.

17. And from that peak of the mountain, showers of flowers descended, scattering garlands upon the groups of gods and asuras from all sides.
