योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-97, verse-37

सर्वासां भूतजातीनां व्यग्राणां व्यर्थदीर्घया ।
क्षीबाणामिव गच्छन्ति दिवसानि दुरीहया ॥ ३७ ॥
sarvāsāṃ bhūtajātīnāṃ vyagrāṇāṃ vyarthadīrghayā ,

kṣībāṇām iva gacchanti divasāni durīhayā

divasāni vyarthadīrghayā durīhayā gacchanti
37. For all agitated classes of beings, days pass by due to their vain, prolonged, and ill-conceived desires, just as they do for drunkards.
