योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-97, verse-23

कल्लोलैरुह्यमानानां नृणां संसारसागरे ।
अज्ञाता दिवसा यान्ति तृणानामिव बिन्दवः ॥ २३ ॥
kallolairuhyamānānāṃ nṛṇāṃ saṃsārasāgare ,
ajñātā divasā yānti tṛṇānāmiva bindavaḥ 23
23. kallolaiḥ uhyamānānām nṛṇām saṃsārasāgare |
ajñātāḥ divasāḥ yānti tṛṇānām iva bindavaḥ ||
23. saṃsārasāgare kallolaiḥ uhyamānānām nṛṇām,
tṛṇānām bindavaḥ iva ajñātāḥ divasāḥ yānti.
23. For human beings (nṛṇām) being swept away by the waves in the ocean of transmigratory existence (saṃsāra), days pass by unheeded, like fleeting drops of dew on blades of grass.
