योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-97, verse-28

पातिता मदसंपन्ना दानवा दानवारिभिः ।
गजा इव निरालाना घोरे नारायणावटे ॥ २८ ॥
pātitā madasaṃpannā dānavā dānavāribhiḥ ,
gajā iva nirālānā ghore nārāyaṇāvaṭe 28

28. The arrogant demons (dānavāḥ), filled with pride, are cast down by the enemies of the demons (dānavāri) into the terrible pit of Nārāyaṇa, just like elephants without support in a deep pit.
