योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-97, verse-2

भ्रमस्य चातिदृश्यत्वाददृश्यत्वान्महाचितेः ।
मदशक्तिवदात्मेति सत्यतास्यापि युज्यते ॥ २ ॥
bhramasya cātidṛśyatvādadṛśyatvānmahāciteḥ ,
madaśaktivadātmeti satyatāsyāpi yujyate 2
2. bhramasya ca atidṛśyatvāt adṛśyatvāt mahāciteḥ |
madaśaktivāt ātma iti satyatā asya api yujyate ||

2. Due to the extreme perceptibility of illusion (bhrama) and the imperceptibility of the supreme consciousness (mahācit), the reality of this [illusion] is also considered valid, as if it were the self (ātman), much like the power of intoxication (madaśakti).
