योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-97, verse-33

भृशं पिशाचाः पश्यन्ति भूतभोजनचिन्तया ।
धूमान्धकारानिलया ज्वालयाहुतयो यथा ॥ ३३ ॥
bhṛśaṃ piśācāḥ paśyanti bhūtabhojanacintayā ,
dhūmāndhakārānilayā jvālayāhutayo yathā 33

33. The Piśācas, whose abodes are smoke and darkness, intensely search for food for (other) beings, with an urgency akin to how a flame (jvālā) consumes oblations (āhutaya).
