योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-187, verse-4

सर्वशक्तेर्यथा यद्यद्भाति तत्तत्तथैव सत् ।
संविन्सारतया यायात्कथं भातमभातताम् ॥ ४ ॥
sarvaśakteryathā yadyadbhāti tattattathaiva sat ,
saṃvinsāratayā yāyātkathaṃ bhātamabhātatām 4

sat saṃvinsāratayā yāyāt katham bhātam abhātatām
4. sarvaśakteḥ yadyat yathā bhāti tattat tathaiva sat (asti)

4. Whatever appears from the all-powerful (śakti) is, in that very way, truly existent. As it is essentially consciousness (saṃvit), how could that which has manifested ever become unmanifest?
