योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-10, verse-21

वासनायास्तथा वह्नेर्ऋणव्याधिद्विषामपि ।
स्नेहवैरविषाणां यः शेषः स्वल्पोऽपि बाधते ॥ २१ ॥
vāsanāyāstathā vahnerṛṇavyādhidviṣāmapi ,
snehavairaviṣāṇāṃ yaḥ śeṣaḥ svalpo'pi bādhate 21
21. vāsanāyāḥ tathā vahneḥ ṛṇavyādhidviṣām api
snehavairaviṣāṇām yaḥ śeṣaḥ svalpaḥ api bādhate
21. tathā vāsanāyāḥ vahneḥ ṛṇavyādhidviṣām api
snehavairaviṣāṇām yaḥ svalpaḥ api śeṣaḥ bādhate
21. Just as a small remainder of latent desires (vāsanā), or of fire, debt, disease, enemies, attachment, hostility, or poison, even if slight, invariably causes trouble.
