श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
तस्मान्नकिंचिदेवेदं जगत्स्थावरजंगमम् ।
नकिंचिद्भूततां प्राप्तं यत्किंचिदिति विद्धि हे ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca ,
tasmānnakiṃcidevedaṃ jagatsthāvarajaṃgamam ,
nakiṃcidbhūtatāṃ prāptaṃ yatkiṃciditi viddhi he 1

1. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Therefore, this entire world, both the unmoving and the moving, is truly nothing. Nothing whatsoever has actually attained existence; know this truth.
