दृश्यदर्शननिर्मुक्ता तामालम्ब्य भवाभवः ।
सौषुप्ती दृष्टिरेषा हि यात्येवं संप्रकाशते ॥ ३८ ॥

That (experience) which is freed from the seen and the seer—by relying on it, the cycle of birth and death (saṃsāra) is transcended. This indeed is the vision (dṛṣṭi) of deep sleep, and thus it manifests completely.
