योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-72, verse-13

मिथः शिलापुत्रकयोर्यथैकोपलपुत्रयोः ।
श्लिष्टयोरपि नो रागस्तथा चित्तशरीरयोः ॥ १३ ॥
mithaḥ śilāputrakayoryathaikopalaputrayoḥ ,
śliṣṭayorapi no rāgastathā cittaśarīrayoḥ 13
13. mithaḥ śilāputrakayoḥ yathā ekopalaputrayoḥ
śliṣṭayoḥ api no rāgaḥ tathā cittaśarīrayoḥ
13. Just as there is no mutual affection (rāga) between two stone figures, or between two figures carved from a single stone, even when they are joined, similarly, there is no such attachment (rāga) between the mind (citta) and the body.
