योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-22, verse-6

तरङ्गितासु कल्लोलजललोलान्तरासु च ।
शाम्यन्तीष्वथ तृष्णासु नदीष्विव घनात्यये ॥ ६ ॥
taraṅgitāsu kallolajalalolāntarāsu ca ,
śāmyantīṣvatha tṛṣṇāsu nadīṣviva ghanātyaye 6

6. And when desires (tṛṣṇā) subside—desires that were turbulent like waves and whose inner nature was restless with surging waters—just as rivers (nadī) calm down at the end of the rainy season (ghanātyaya).
