योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-37, verse-58

खर्वगाः खदिताः क्षुद्रा यातुधानैः परावृताः ।
तेजः परममाजग्मुः शान्ताग्नय इवेन्धनैः ॥ ५८ ॥

kharvagāḥ khaditāḥ kṣudrā yātudhānaiḥ parāvṛtāḥ ,
tejaḥ paramamājagmuḥ śāntāgnaya ivendhanaiḥ 58

58. The puny and short statured Deccanese, being driven back by the Rakshas of Lanka, redoubled their attack on them, as the smothering fire is rekindled by fuel.
