योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-37, verse-34

शैव्यास्तु खण्डिताः कौन्तैर्भ्रमत्कुन्तैर्विघट्टिताः ।
शवीभूता दिवं नीता दृष्टा विद्याधरा इव ॥ ३४ ॥

śavībhūtā divaṃ nītā dṛṣṭā vidyādharā iva 34
34. śaivyāḥ tu khaṇḍitāḥ kuntaiḥ bhramat-kuntaiḥ vighaṭṭitāḥ
śavībhūtāḥ divam nītāḥ dṛṣṭāḥ vidyādharāḥ iva
34. tu śaivyāḥ kuntaiḥ bhramat-kuntaiḥ [ca] khaṇḍitāḥ vighaṭṭitāḥ [ca] śavībhūtāḥ [ca abhavan],

34. But the Śaivyās were cut down by spears and shattered by whirling spears; they became corpses and were taken to heaven, seen as if they were celestial (vidyādhara) beings.
