योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-37, verse-56

द्विपयो बाहुधानानां क्षणेनादाय मस्तकम् ।
भल्लैः पलाय्याशु गता विलूनकमला इव ॥ ५६ ॥

dvipayo bāhudhānānāṃ kṣaṇenādāya mastakam ,
bhallaiḥ palāyyāśu gatā vilūnakamalā iva 56

56. The elephant drivers, that struck off the heads of their hosts in a trice, were pursued by the harpooners, and fled with their severed heads, as they do with the lotus-flowers plucked by their hands.
