योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-3, verse-4

स चेह संभवत्येव तदर्थमिदमाततम् ।
शास्त्रमाकर्णयसि चेत्तत्त्वमाप्स्यसि नान्यथा ॥ ४ ॥
sa ceha saṃbhavatyeva tadarthamidamātatam ,
śāstramākarṇayasi cettattvamāpsyasi nānyathā 4
4. saḥ ca iha saṃbhavati eva tat artham idam ātatam
śāstram ākarṇayasi cet tattvam āpsyasi na anyathā
4. That (liberation) is indeed possible in this very life. For that purpose, this extensive scripture is taught. If you listen to it carefully, you will attain the ultimate truth; otherwise, you will not.
