वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-31, verse-8

तमेव दिवसं सो ऽथ हैहयाधिपतिर्बली ।
अर्जुनो नर्मदां रन्तुं गतः स्त्रीभिः सहेश्वरः ॥८॥
8. tameva divasaṃ so'tha haihayādhipatirbalī ,
arjuno narmadāṃ rantuṃ gataḥ strībhiḥ saheśvaraḥ.
8. atha saḥ balī haihayādhipatiḥ arjunaḥ tam eva
divasam strībhiḥ saha īśvaraḥ narmadām rantuṃ gataḥ
8. Then, on that very day, that powerful lord of the Haihayas, Arjuna, went to the Narmada river to sport with his women.
