वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-31, verse-5

स एवं बाधमानस्तु पार्थिवान्पार्थिवर्षभ ।
चचार रावणो राम पृथिव्यां पृथिवीपते ॥५॥
5. sa evaṃ bādhamānastu pārthivānpārthivarṣabha ,
cacāra rāvaṇo rāma pṛthivyāṃ pṛthivīpate.
5. saḥ evam bādhamānaḥ tu pārthivān pārthivarṣabha
cacāra rāvaṇaḥ rāma pṛthivyām pṛthivīpate
5. he rāma he pārthivarṣabha he pṛthivīpate saḥ rāvaṇaḥ

5. Thus harassing the earthly rulers (pārthiva), that Rāvaṇa, O Rāma, best of kings and lord of the earth, roamed upon the earth.
